Sierra Bioclimatic Pergola - Arabian Ranches, Dubai

This Arabian Ranches villa garden had an established mature landscape that the homeowner wanted to preserve - the brief was to create a shaded outdoor living space without disrupting the planting or imposing a heavy structure on the garden.

The two-module Sierra on four posts was the right fit. Freestanding with no wall attachment, the structure sits centrally in the terrace, leaving the surrounding garden untouched. The white powder-coated finish keeps the pergola light and unobtrusive against the greenery rather than dominating it.

LED lighting integrated into the gutter profile provides ambient illumination after dark, extending the usability of the space into the evening without requiring separate overhead lighting. A ceiling fan mounted to the pergola frame adds airflow on still days - a practical addition in a garden setting where natural breeze can be limited by surrounding walls and mature trees.

The motorised louvres allow the homeowner to open the roof fully when shade is not needed, maintaining the open garden feel, and close them when the afternoon sun or occasional rain requires protection.

Installed with a third-party structural report and covered by our 5-year warranty.
