Carport Pergolas: Common Questions
How wide can a carport pergola be?
Modules join side by side, so a carport can run 20 metres or more along the front of the villa. Projection (how far it comes out) is normally up to about 6 metres. A double carport is usually two modules.
Will rain get through?
Not with a Nimbus, which has a solid waterproof roof, or a Sierra with its louvres closed. The Liwa has fixed open louvres, so it gives permanent shade and airflow but is not rain-tight.
Do I need approval for a carport in Dubai?

How much does a carport pergola cost?
Every carport is priced to its size after we measure, so there is no fixed carport price. As a reference, our starting prices - AED 14,000 for a Liwa or Nimbus and AED 15,000 for a Sierra, plus installation and 5% VAT - are for a small 3x3m pergola. A carport has to cover the full length of a car, and a double carport is usually two modules, so it is several times that size and costs more. Can it have lighting?
Yes. LED strip lighting or spotlights can be built into the frame, so the driveway is lit at night.
